Inspired by Edmund de Waal’s ‘HAREWITH AMBER EYES’  I started thinking about the social and family history around his collection of Japanese netsuke. I decided to take a lighter note and make some slightly mad ‘alien’ creatures that are miniature, and can be fun items on a dinner table or even in a printer’s tray to reflect  back on the 70’s!
Hence the name ‘Clemsuke’ who are posing here with other ‘alien’ creatures made by Peta  Becker of Projekt 
In addition, I extended the miniature range to some sitting cats….
