How do I pay for my order?

You can pay via EFT or with your credit card via Payfast (secure link)

How is the shipping cost calculated?

Local shipping within South Africa (for items purchased online only)

  • R80.00 courier fee for orders delivered to Western Cape
  • R190.00 courier fee for orders delivered to other provinces within South Africa

Re international shipping – once we have your order and your delivery details, a quotation will be emailed to you for your confirmation together with a Payfast link for payment.

How long will it take to get my Clementina Ceramics piece?

If the item is a stock item, the delivery within South Africa will be approximately 7 working days. If it is a customized item which has to be especially made, the delivery time will be estimated accordingly on confirmation of the order.

How is my order packaged?

The ceramics are packaged with bubble-wrap and secured in a strong cardboard carton. The parcel is insured for total loss. In the case of a damaged item we need to be notified within 48 hours with images and description of the damage. We will then replace the item and courier cost at our expense.

Are all the products displayed online available in-store as well?

Some of the products which are displayed online may be available in-store or in our studio showroom. Best to email us first with your query.

Why doesn't my Clementina Ceramics piece look exactly like the product online?

The one-off online pieces are the actual pieces for sale. Any other items may look slightly different due to the handmade process and unique quality of each item.

Can I return my order?

If you are unhappy with the order, please notify us within 24 hours. You may then return the item within 5 working days, securely packaged and at your own cost and we will credit you so that you may select something else. If the item arrives at our studio in a damaged condition, no credit will be offered. Unfortunately no returns on international purchases.

How do I go about getting a custom-made piece?

Regarding a custom-made piece, an email with description should be sent to info@clementina.co.za. We will respond within 3-5 working days.

Are these wares dishwasher proof?

The wares may be used gently in a dishwasher. However it must be noted that they are earthenware which is more delicate than stoneware or porcelain, so if manhandled it could be prone to chipping.

Are these wares microwave proof?

Best not to use in the microwave.

Are these wares oven proof?

Provided they are not placed from fridge to hot oven, they should be fine in an oven. They should be slowly heated up.
