TILES AS ARTWORKS

Ceramic tiles feature carved, sprigged and painted patterns,
as well as poetic texts and a range of face images.
These are composed into a particular themed narrative,
forming a composite artwork panel consisting of a group of tiles.

Alternatively, individual tiles may be selected by the client
who then becomes interactive in designing the combination.

Colours vary from bright to earthy, glazed to unglazed.
Each tile is supported by a custom-made metal bracket which,
when hung, gives each tile a floating effect,
as well as casting a gentle shadow.
