The World Design Capital distinction is awarded to cities which recognise design as a tool for social, cultural and economic development. Cape Town is the Design Capital for 2014 and is hosting over 460 design projects which aim at transforming the city with this fantastic slogan, “LIVE DESIGN. TRANSFORM LIFE.”
